McGriff appoints Welz to lead Senior Living Practice

King of Prussia, Penn. – McGriff has promoted Michael Welz as senior vice president and national practice leader for its Senior Living practice. Welz joined McGriff in March, 2022 and has focused on working closely with the McGriff team to support existing clients while growing and developing new client relationships. Prior to joining McGriff, he supported clients across the senior living industry within a national competitor’s healthcare practice.

McGriff’s Senior Living practice comprises 45 dedicated professionals who exclusively focus on supporting McGriff’s long term care and aging services clients and specialize in understanding the complexities and unique needs of their business. This move is the latest in a series of strategic investments made by McGriff into specialty resources and team members to expand the firm’s scope of client services.
