About Us

Doug Hodo is the chief executive officer at McGriff Specialty. As CEO, his primary responsibilities include defining the organization’s strategic direction, advancing business development initiatives, and overseeing growth through marketing, automation, and mergers and acquisitions.

Hodo has worked in the insurance industry for over 35 years and held various roles, including producer, director and chief strategic growth officer.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Robert Drew is president of McGriff Specialty. He is responsible for top-line growth through specialty and vertical development, front-line sales leadership and recruiting, and national sales initiatives, while overseeing client relationship development, client experience, and client retention and acquisition. He also leads McGriff’s Construction practice.

Drew has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years and held various roles, including producer, construction leader and president.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.

Jon Boone is chief financial officer for McGriff Specialty. His primary responsibilities are to oversee the accounting and finance divisions.

Boone has worked in the insurance industry since 2014 and held various roles, including director of financial planning and analysis and strategic finance director.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and his master’s degree from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Scott Howard is the chief operating officer for McGriff Specialty. His primary responsibility is to lead operational strategy and business execution across our industry practices.

Howard has worked in the insurance industry for 25 years in various roles.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and his master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago.

Mike Breedlove is the National Sales and Growth leader for McGriff Specialty. His primary responsibilities include executing sales strategies, supporting producer development, and leading sales enablement efforts to drive new business growth, retention, and cross-sell results.

Breedlove has worked in the insurance industry since 1988 and held various roles, including producer, regional president and national property and casualty sales leader.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Concordia University.

Jeremy McCaslin is Chief Information Officer at McGriff Specialty. He leads business technology initiatives related to operations, process development, account management and production, coordinating with our accounting and other business functions.

McCaslin has worked in the insurance industry for over 22 years and held various roles, including producer, aviation practice leader and regional president.

Camille Martinez serves as the director of human resources at McGriff Specialty. She is responsible for leading McGriff’s HR team, HR strategy, organizational design & development, performance enablement, and employee relations. With over 18 years in the insurance industry and over 25 years in human resources, Camille has held previous HR-focused roles including human resources manager, teammate relations manager, and senior HR business partner.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
