McGriff announced today that Conor Hampel has joined the firm as a Senior Vice President, Producer, in the firm’s Executive Risk Advisors group.
Hampel joins McGriff from Willis Towers Watson where he most recently was the East Team Leader for Financial, Executive, and Professional Risks (“FINEX”) for Financial Institutions and previously served as the National Growth Leader. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, he served as a Senior Account Executive with Crystal & Company. In those roles, he specialized in developing strategies and obtaining coverages and placements for D&O, E&O, Fiduciary, and other executive risks for public and private clients, private equity and strategic buyers.
Hampel will primarily focus on financial institutions, among other industries, helping clients navigate a variety of executive risk lines. He will be based in the New York City metropolitan area.

Hampel earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Loyola University Maryland.
