McGriff today announced the following two appointments to leadership roles at McGriff, effective immediately.
Crystal Sanderson, currently senior vice president and Director of McGriff’s Sales Center, will assume the position of National Personal Lines & Small Business Practice Leader. Rachael Yelverton, who currently leads business development for Small Business and Personal Insurance, will become Chief Distribution Officer for Small Business and Personal Lines.
Both positions will report to Renee Keen, who was recently named CEO, McGriff Small Business and Personal.
“Crystal and Rachael are both proven leaders,” said Keen. “The experience and expertise they bring to their roles will have a driving impact on the success of our Small Business and Personal Lines division, and I am excited about what we can achieve with their leadership.”
Sanderson, who joined McGriff in 2006, will be responsible for all main street and premier segment personal lines, the McGriff Sales Center, McGriff’s Small Business segment, and developing and maintaining small business carrier relationships. An industry veteran since 1999, she holds the CRM, CIC, and AAI designations.
Yelverton joined McGriff in 2008. In her new role, she will focus on alternative distribution channels for small business and personal lines insurance. She will also lead in the development of a broker-assisted digital platform for small business and personal lines sales. Yelverton earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia. She holds the AAI designation and is a Certified Salesforce Administrator.
“Small business and personal lines is a high-growth area for McGriff,” noted Keen. “I know that Crystal and Rachael will deliver the energy and passion needed to help our company achieve our goals.”
